Jonah Bank of Wyoming - Downtown Remodel The project builds upon a prior renovation in which the bank relocated to this existing structure as part of an earlier, separate initiative. Over time, the bank outgrew its first-level footprint and sought to expand into former tenant spaces on the second floor. To maintain operational cohesion between the now vertically divided staff, the lobby ceiling was strategically opened to create an atrium - establishing a visual and spatial connection between the two levels. This central void also enhances security by allowing greater oversight and transparency. Interior finishes from the original renovation were extended to the upper level, creating a unified material palette throughout. A customized arrangement of suspended light fixtures within the atrium void produces a sculptural chandelier effect, reinforcing the physical and visual link between floor levels. Both size and budget truly distinguish this as a “small project” – yet one that demonstrates thoughtful spatial intervention and design continuity.
