Bar Nunn Elementary School A twelve-classroom addition with gymnasium to an existing K-5 1980's facility with a BASE - Behavior Academic and Social Education program. The project included separate funding from three sources: the Wyoming School Facilities Commission to address the gymnasium and ten-classroom deficiency for the school capacity, the Natrona County School District for two-classroom preschool addition "enhancement", and the Natrona County School District for major maintenance for remodel to the existing building including lighting and fire protection systems and for building security upgrades - all carefully combined in a bid package to award to a single contractor. The two-phase project was designed to allow the school to remain fully functional during the construction and included a very conpressed timeframe of just 14 months of construction.
